My day has been long and shitty, emotionally. Add that to the fact that Mark's mom is really starting to annoy me beyond belief, and that Kyle's coming down with something that includes a fever, and my holiday season is starting to look absolutely fucking beeeaaaauuuutiful.

I am such a Scrooge. Oh yes, oh yes. I am a scrooge.

The obvious reason for this is that I don't like the holiday season. Obviously. I mean, that's why I'm calling myself a scrooge. But I guess a lot of people might not understand why.
Frankly, I've had too many disappointing Christmases to really look forward to the holiday anymore. All I ever get is clothes. I HATE GETTING CLOTHES!!! Especially when it's all the cute, frilly, girly crap. I don't *wear* that stuff! Why does my mom insist on getting it for me? For fuck's sake, she's the one that looks at my wishlist, and there's hardly ever any mention of clothes on it when I write it up. If there is, it's a few specific items, like "Pencil skirt" or "Poet shirts" or "Trenchcoat". But do I get any of those things? NO! Never! And then I'll get stuff in pinks and reds. Fucking PINKS and REDS. I HATE those colors!!! And then I'll be sitting there in all the fucking clothes I'll never wear, and my brother'll be getting practically everything he had put on his list, while I'm sitting there getting more and more disappointed with each present I open. It's not right! Just because I"m a girl doesn't mean that I want nothing but clothes! For crying out loud, the majority of my wishlist is BOOKS!!! Books, movies, and CDs! Maybe I'll get a Christmas miracle and get an MP3 player. An iPod would be great, but at least an MP3. That would make all the shitty presents worthwhile. I think.

So yeah, I'm a scrooge. Don't try to fill me with holiday spirit, either, 'cause it'll just make me more scroogish. Meh.

I'd post the other reasons for my "Uhhhgggghhhhh no not Christmas"-ness, but I'm getting a bit of a headache from looking at the screen, so I won't.
