I suppose I ought to write this down sooner or later. I mean, everyone else keeps writing down what they think, so I'm gonna do the same. But bear in mind, I'm just going to keep calm and say what I want to say. There.
Rants. I'm so freaking tired of rants. Granted, this will be a rant, but...there's no other real way to groan softly about these things. I'm tired of the myspace rants, where people complain about the same things over and over. You're not the only people who don't like the chain bullitens and emo people who work with "the angles", and trust me, I've seen about four of the exact same rant I just heard from you already. Start a group or something and bitch about it all there. You're not the only person who thinks that, and you're definitely not the first. Shut up.
And on Sheezyart...I found a rant about the "Community Picks", essentially throwing them away as BS. Are the drawn community picks usually fanarts? Yes, that I will not deny. And are the flash animations usually strange and random? Yes. The only works that get on the community picks page that this person probably feels are worthwhile are the writings. They say that people only pick the community picks because they're by a certain person, or of a character that they know already from TV, and that people completely overlook the pictures that the artist spent hours/days on, slaving away with their blood, sweat and tears, without ever considering that perhaps the person who did that fanart of Sailor Neptune or Sora or Edo did exactly that with the fanart. I'll admit, the person who wrote the rant had a few solid, valid points...and at the same time, they dug themselves a hole. I wonder how those other ranters feel, that this one person's rant was picked above theirs? How dull this all is. People ranting about people being unoriginal, but even that rant is old. Whatever.
