Gods....really now.
A person can't say anything anymore without the whole world (or their world) getting all up in fucking arms, huh? I post a board on my friend's RP site, Lunaria, with a beautiful French song on it, and my friend Emily posts something on there about Spanish. I react as everyone who knows me knows I react to the mention of the Spanish language: "SPANISH IS EVIL IT GRATES ON MY POOR LITTLE EARS!!" Then Miss Ashena, who has never agreed with me on anything whenever she posts in response to me on that goddamn site, decides to rear her head and comments :
"*Stays calm* Spanish is a beautiful lang. Spanish is my 2nd lang. And I'm proud to say, I can speak it properly. And It's so hard to not to be a bitch right now. Lets not diss other people's lang. Understood? Spanish is beautiful. I will not talk shit about French, even though I could, but I won't."
So I post two replies:
"Allow me to amend myself, then: MEXICAN is evil; it grates on my ears. I've not heard actual Spanish, so I don't know if it's a "beautiful language" or not. Mexican, on the other hand, I know for certain, drives me up the frikkin' wall. And it's not that I have anything against Mexicans; I just know for certain that the sound of their language drives me insane."
...and....
"Allow me to amend myself again: I *have* heard real Spanish.... *one* sentence, which translates to "I have fish in my pants," said in a very sexy way."
Then I get all sorts of replies to it!!! *twitchtwitch*
From "Gara", "Ashena"s real-life girlfriend:
"There are people on here who are indeed Mexican and in saying what you did you have probably made them furious with that statement. So, I suggest you retract what you've said."
From Nichole, Mykal's girlfriend who I can hardly tolerate:
"That is quite messed up. Retract your statement, its not right. If you dont like something dont say it on here cuz there are ppl from basically any and all cultures and it will offend them. This is a site meant for fun...not offending ppl."
From Fiona, the head moderator:
"Let's not start some contreversy on here, please. I personally love all languages and I don't think it's right to say that certain ones are better than the other. There is at least one person to every culture on this site (about every culture) and to offend one would offend at least one person and the person that you ended up offending happens to be a good friend of mine. I'm not taking their side because of that but it's still not right."
So I, thouroghly annoyed by that point, post my reply to that on the board....
"Okay, how about I just never say a goddamn thing in the OOC ever again, because I'm just too f*cking good at offending everyone, no matter how delicately I try to say something???"

So yeah. Now that I know I'm the only person on that site who can SAY SHIT, I've decided to take a hiatus (at least in posting) from Lunaria. What's the point in staying there when I've just got this incredibly unstoppable talent for pissing off every individual on the site just by BREATHING AND THINKING AND HAVING OPINIONS AND BEING WILLING TO EXPRESS THEM????!!!!!!
