Well, my life has been....well....life-like....
Brad's met my mom (but I've already mentioned that, right?), and he and I have seen each other frequently in the past couple of weeks. Sunday we were going to *try* and see the new Phantom of the Opera flick, like we've tried to do since December 23rd, but neither of us felt like being inactive, so we went hiking in the areas near his house, because he knows those places better. We even ended up near the Mormon Rocks and climbed on those for a bit. ^_^ Although I saw something that no sweet, innocent virgin like myself should ever have to see...... *shudder* Why that man was wearing nothing but his hat on a rock in the middle of a river is hard enough to understand, but I don't think there's any logical explination for why, to all appearances, he was jacking off as well. *shudder* My poor, poor eyes..... eeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ugh.... I feel like I need to scour them every time I tell the story....but it's still so fun to see people's reactions when I tell them about it. Anyway.... Brad and I are going to try to get together on Friday (aka Tomorrow), but he hasn't been feeling well, so we'll see how he's feeling later.
In other news, Finals have officially started, so that's always.....interesting. With the final schedules in place, I suddenly remembered that I like block scheduling....a lot..... and wish that High School could be run on block schedules universally. As much as I like seeing certain people every day, I don't like having the same classes every day. I rather enjoy having it mixed up a bit and getting a tad more time to complete the homework (Gods know that I need all the extra time I can get, with what Mr. Levi assigns for homework). Oh, and regarding that (Mr. Levi), I want to try and get my history class switched. Just the teacher, though. Mr. Levi has a great personality and all, but dear sweet gods, he's one of THOSE teachers!!! You know, the ones that assign a ridiculous amount of homework ON TOP OF whatever we had to do in class, because they just don't seem to realize that their students have five other classes besides them!!! I want to see if Mr. Hauk (the Haukman!! yeah!) teaches CP US History, because when I had him for World History two years ago, I --*gasp*-- ACTUALLY PASSED THE CLASS!!! And I don't know what it was about the way he taught, but it really worked, because I've never passed history before, and with him, I did! *is now curious* It's not that I don't enjoy history, it's just that no one teaches it right.
In other news, avidgamers doesn't seem to be working *grrrrrr*, so I can't check the RPs I have going in Realmz and Neara, which is the whole reason I came down here. Oh, and I want to graduate early, but my mom won't let me; have I mentioned that at all? *nodnod* Yeah, so that sucks major ass....
Game Updates:
Kingdom Hearts: I finally just said "Screw You, Wonderland," and went to the next world, which turned out to be the Hercules Colliseum. I beat Cerberus after trying probably twenty times or something, then moved on to the next world, which is the Tarzan world. I'm thinking of returning to Wonderland only when I absolutely have to so I can get to the other worlds beyond it, and then I'm using the strategy guide that Ben gave me so I can actually get to the Goddamned boss..... that world just gives me a headache.
Baldur's Gate: Not much to report here.... I'm looking for the Thieves' Guild in the sewers, and have come across the menaces that are the blobs of gelatin monsters..... for those who have played, you should know what I'm talking about--the green blobs that move really slow, and the big blue cubes that rush you--yeah, those. It's pretty fun, but frustrating when you die a good long distance past an activated save point.
Well, that's all for now. Bai
