Blue Dreams

"I've been alive since time began
Not beast, not god, and yet not man
I am the music and the dance
I am the piper who enchants
So loose all ties to mortal kind
My pipes shall play within thy mind
I shall be thy lover"

Well, last night was..... well..... more of a night than I've had in a while....

I went to the "Backwards" dance (in my twisted little head, I call it the Sadie Hawkins dance, 'cause that's what it is), and the theme was "A Pirate's Life For Me". I was dressed to kill (Of course; black bustiers tend to do that), and (thankfully), I wasn't the only one. Unfortunately, last night just had to be the night my body decided to "start", right in the middle of the dance, when I had no pads or tampons on my person, and *then*, of course, my empathy decided to go screwy, so for the second half of the dance (for the most part), I was as far away from people as I could get without getting off of the dance floor (after recovering, of course). I suppose I have only myself to blame--I know what my empathy can and cannot stand, and *I* was the one throwing myself into a crowded area chock-full of people who were putting off huge amounts of energy. But it was good energy (sexually charged/fun-filled energies tend to be interchangable once humans reach a certain age), so it wasn't like I suffered, really. My headaches from the music were worse than getting overwhelmed by everyone's energy. It was just a little annoying, that's all. Though it was tons of fun dancing to some of the songs.... especially towards the end, because they ran out of popular hip-hop and R&B (*shudder*) to play, so they played some White Boy music. It was sooooo fun..... I did some serious headbanging to Alien Ant Farm's cover of "Smooth Criminal".... and man, is my neck paying for it now. Then they played that one song in the Six Flags commercials.... I believe it's called "Party Train", or something like that. Anyway, it's techno-y and fun and I was so not expecting to hear it there (actually, I expected "Ballroom Blitz" less--at least "Party Train" is only a few years old; and if they played Ballroom Blitz, I didn't hear it). And they played my request--Hey Ya-- and I think that's what really got the dance going (in my opinion). Tori and I had a blast, particularly when a couple of black guys came up and danced behind us.... ^_^ Always nice to have guys tell you you have a nice ass by dancing behind it. ^_^ Then we went to Denny's afterwards and took up nearly the whole bar and had a late dinner. Very late. But it was way fun. I actually enjoyed myself.

As for Kingdom Hearts.... well, I'm stuck in Wonderland. I've found two clues to prove Alice's innocence, and I'm trying to figure out how to get to the other little mushroom/lilypad things. And then, of course, I'm trying not to kill Goofy and Donald. Having them around makes killing Heartless much easier and much quicker work, yes, but Donald keeps getting way too much damage (he needs to learn defense), and if we're not in a fight, they just keep getting in the way, which annoys me to no end. However, Goofy's pretty strong, so I'm glad he's on my side. ugh. Maybe I'll borrow a strategy guide, as at least two have been offered to me. The game's pretty tough without them (though it's become a fun tradition, walking up to Mikey every day and asking him something about the game).

And my map, which I started as a joke, is becoming something so much more.... it's kinda scary, but it's gonna rock big time. ^_^ It'll take lots of patientce to finish it, and I can't wait!!

Oh, and I'm still prolly gonna move come February. More updates on that as they come along.

Ciao for now,
