"~Pick her up and pretend your going to throw her into the pool...she'll scream and fight you but secretly she'll love IT!
Chii-chan says: Uhm.....no. You'll probably just piss her off, especially if she's anything like me.
~Hold her hand while you talk to her, and hold her hand when you drive.
Chii-chan says: Well, yeah, hand-holding's always nice. It's a simple gesture that feels special for some odd reason. So YES to this one.
~Tell her she looks pretty.
Chii-chan says: Anyone who *doesn't* tell the girl they like (or their girlfriend) that she's pretty deserves to be dragged out and shot. OF COURSE you should tell her she's pretty! Gods!
~Look her in the eyes when you talk to her.
Chii-chan says: Ah, but do it in moderation. Looking into someone's eyes has always been intimidating for me, and besides, what if you look into her eyes when you're driving?
~Protect her and tell her dumb jokes....tickle her, even if she says stop.
Chii-chan says: Protect her? Uh, yeah, so long as there's something to protect her *from*. Tell her dumb jokes? As long as they're *funny* dumb jokes (or something you know she'll like, even if they're dumb), knock yourself out. Tickle her, even if she says stop? Ah, no. Well, if she starts saying "NO SERIOUSLY STOP!!!!" then stop. If it's a "*gigglegiggle* Heeheeeheee Stop iiiiiiit!" sort of thing, then it's okay to continue.
~Dance with her.
Chii-chan says: Oh hell YES! You have no idea how much I, a girl, would love to be danced with. Dance with her, definintely.
~When she swears at you, tell her you love her.
Chii-chan says: Yeah, and you know what she'll think? "Oh, how many other things have we done that he told me 'I love you' for?" You know, like SEX? Definitely a no.
~Let her fall asleep in your arms and you fall asleep in hers.
Chii-chan says: Yes. Such a sweet thing to do, and there's truly nothing more comforting than falling asleep in a mutual embrace.
~*When you're with your friends, treat her the same, don't ignore her.*
Chii-chan says: Yes. Yes Yes YES. And definitely don't act like she's "one of the guys". She's *different* from your friends, so treat her that way (unless, of course, you were friends before you dated, so in that case, she can be just a little exhalted, treated just a little bit better than the friends).
~Get her mad, and then KiSS her.
Chii-chan says: Depends on how mad you get her. See, now I'm thinking in extremes. If she's EXTREMELY mad, then don't, unless you want to bring down PMS levels of wrath or confusion on you. If she's only a little mad, then hey, what could a kiss hurt? It might even, in some cases, become your "I'm sorry". ***
~Tease her, let her tease you.
Chii-chan: Nothing more fun than some playful banter between lovers. *nodnod* Yeah, this is a yes as well.
~Stay up with her when she is sick.
Chii-chan: Awwwwww, how sweet! You could get sick as well, but hey, at least you have your recently-immunized girlfriend at your side to get you all healed up ;-P Nurse fantasy, anyone?
~Kiss her forehead.
Chii-chan says: Yes to this. Yet another simple gesture, like holding hands, that somehow feels very sweet and special.
~Let her wear your clothes.
Chii-chan says: Ohhhhh yeeeeah! Men's clothes rock!! *nodnod* And besides, can you imagine how sexy it'd be if after a long night of passionate looove, she walked into the kitchen wearing nothing but one of *your* shirts?
~Kiss her in the rain.
Chii-chan says: If the situation calls for it, sure, why not.
~And when you realize you love her, tell her.
Chii-chan says: Well, maybe not at that very moment, but definitely tell her when the moment is right."
Jaymes Said: Id like to know from a girls point of view if this is acctually true or just some bull shit lonely mushy people think of.
***Also note that THE WOMAN IS ALWAYS RIGHT, even in trivial matters. ^_^
Okay, so in other news, Brad's not been home in oh.... about a week now, I think. I feel so sorry for that man.... though, he kinda needs to grow a pair, as far as his friends are concerned. I mean, I know what it's like to feel bad for not wanting to help, but sometimes you gotta indulge yourself, right? And when it's getting to the point that you're being kept from your house for days and days at a time because you just can't say "No, look, it's my car (or other item they need), and I have this, that, and the other to do at home, and classes to attend," then one really needs to just swallow their guilt and say it, I think. Oh well, not like there's much he can do now. The Big Bear Faire is starting this weekend, and he's working there. On top of that, there's the big "Cousins Reunion" going on that weekend as well. But I think I'll ask my mom if we can go to the Big Bear Faire next weekend. It'd be fun, methinks, going to a faire as a patron, not an employee. XD
Ciao for now,
Chii-chan
