"I've been alive since time began
Not beast, not god, and yet not man
I am the music and the dance
I am the piper who enchants
So loose all ties to mortal kind
My pipes shall play within thy mind
I shall be thy lover"

Ugh. Life....

Mykal's decided that David, Sean's identical (but much much nicer and more enjoyable) twin brother and I are going out now. However, he and I are comfy as "just buddies". I dunno. The way Mykal was acting the other day seems to imply somehow that David might like me. That might explain why David lets me be as physically affectionate as I want to be with him, and I only get as affectionate as I do with him because I know that he'll let me. None of my other friends ever really let me get past the big tight hug stage of affection. The thing is, David might like me, and thus that might be why he lets me act how I do.

*recounts conversation*

As I walked up from the bathroom, Mykal asked David if he was going to ask "her". David said he wasn't, so Mykal said, "Well, she's right there," but David just said that he wouldn't bother. So Mykal asked for him (of me), "Christyna, are you seeing anyone?". Of course, I replied that I was, which prompted him to ask if I was seeing anyone *legal*. *sweatdrop* The response, then, was no. So then he asked if I would go out with David if I wasn't seeing anyone, and after much thought, I gave a generic "sure, why not?".

Here's what makes me think about it, though. I *did* like David, but that was last year, first semester. He and I had biology together, and though the crush was a little one, it was still a crush, and even after he got switched out of that class second semester and expressed an interest in a different girl, the crush persisted. But now it's gone. I'm involved with somebody else, and David is just a very good friend of mine. If he likes me *now*, it's too little too late.

Other than that, life is being life to me, which means it sucks something awful. But I'm reading one of my favorite books again, and I saw "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" on Sunday, so that was awesome. I'm gonna go see it again. ^_^ There can be no other Flaming, Mile-High Monument to Geekdom like "Sky Captain". They may as well have called it "Only Geeks Will Appreciate This Film".

Until later!
